TL;DR - Refunds are available up until just prior to fulfillment. The Kickstarter portion of refunds are processed with an 8% reduction due to non-refundable Kickstarter fees on to the credit card that you made your original payment with. Any refunds for payments placed in the Pledge Manager (Gamefound) are refunded 100% via Stripe. Please mention your backer number or the email address you use for Kickstarter (and if relevant the email address associated with your Gamefound account or your Pledge ID) with any refund request.

We totally understand that life happens, that it can be easy to get overzealous with all the awesome games coming out, and that there are so many reasons out there where you might need to request a refund. This is no problem at all and doesn't lessen our appreciation of you in any way!
This is for people who are considering refunds of Kickstarter pledges. If you've backed one of our games as a late backer and are looking for a refund, you're just as awesome but you'll want to check out this article.
We are happy to refund the Kickstarter portion of your pledge. The refund you'll see will be the value of your pledge minus 8% due to the Kickstarter fees that are non-refundable. As an example, a backer would pledge $132 Canadian dollars for a Stonesaga Core Box. If they required a refund, we would refund $121.44 Canadian dollars.
If you've also completed the pledge manager (which means you've submitted an order for the pledge and add-ons that you'd like, provided a shipping address and paid for shipping), there will be a second transaction for the shipping refund. If this is a Mythwind or Stonesaga pledge on Gamefound, your amount will be refunded 100%.
Once we have processed your refund, it may take a couple of business days to be posted to your account. You should expect your refunded Kickstarter pledge to come from Kickstarter (rather than OOMM Games or Open Owl Studios), while the refund on the shipping portion of your pledge will come from OOMM Games. Please keep in mind that refunds are issued in Canadian dollars and that your refund will likely be a little different from the original amount that you were charged due to currency fluctuations if your credit card uses a different currency.
If you would like a refund, please submit a ticket with the following information:
- A note explaining your request for a refund and that you understand that the 8% in KS fees are non-refundable.
- Email address associated with your Kickstarter account / Backer number.
- Your Pledge ID/Number for the pledge manager (if relevant).
KICKSTARTER REFUND POLICY We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of refunding no questions asked minus Kickstarter and payment processing fees (which we can’t get back after 14 days). We can process refunds up until 2 weeks prior fulfillment beginning. Once we have given the fulfillment data to our fulfillment partners, we do not process refunds. Refunds within 14 days of the campaign ending are reversed to your credit card. Any refunds processed more than 14 days after the end of the campaign will be processed via PayPal or reversed via Stripe to your credit card at our discretion. Any refunds for payments made into the Pledge manager will be reversed via Stripe.
This project is being funded in CAD and any refunds processed will be in CAD for the exact amount received in CAD, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed. Please note that $1 Follow Along pledges will not be refunded.
